Heart Wants What It Wants / Poetry

Where We Were

a8cbbcccb0c6b3f693312b387db5e60f

We were sunflowers

in the middle of a storm,

stuck in traffic

and despair of our nightmares.

Stumbled upon barbed wires

and rose thorns

Drinking a bottle of whisky

along Bourbon Street

Damsel in distress

woke up in a sea of kisses

from a stranger

she named him Knight

and she was his Princess
