The Teaspoon & The Flies

One big messy kitchen,

Dirty dishes and food that had rotten

Lying at the bottom of the sink

a teaspoon that used to tinkgm

Unwashed and stained from 2 weeks ago

Sugar and coffee she made them go tango.

Now it’s left empty & alone

Looking for a place, but there’s no one home

Rusty and musty, lying still

with coffee stain and smelling stale

She’s used to do all the lifting day and noon.

Now she has the emotional capacity of a teaspoon.
